A Note About the Song from Kate:
I saw this quote at the Labyrinth at the Community Congregational Church in Tiburon a number of years ago. Immediately it became this song and my favorite place to sing it is in San Quentin State Prison with our friends there. I love the Spanish translation “Caminamos juntos a nuestro hogar.” Please write to me (kateamunger@gmail.com) if you want to learn that harmonizing line. It’s beautiful.
How Is this Song Creating the World We Want?
Any time we sing together, we are getting closer to the world we want. When we sing lyrics that are true, beautiful, that remind us of the beautiful spirit that was Ram Dass, that also remind us of our sacred purpose on this earth, we are so fortunate to BE in that harmonious world.
