Lyrics

Part 1: There’s a wheel that is turning, calling me in to my power
There’s a wheel that is turning, calling me in to my voice

Part 2: It’s turning, we’re learning to stand inside our hearts
It’s turning, we’re learning to stand in love

Part 3 & 4: I will not be silent

Teaching Notes

When teaching this I usually teach the whole group the first two parts and get those going together for awhile. Then I stop and teach part 3 to the whole group with harmony. Then everyone knows 2 parts and it’s easy to bring all 4 parts in. The rhythms of this song can be somewhat challenging, and need to be precise for the parts to layer well together.

I sometimes change the words in part 1 to be “There’s a wheel that is turning, calling us in to our power… calling us in to our voice.”

Level of teaching speed/ difficulty (1 = very easy, 10 = very challenging)
