Magnificence

The Bird Sings Oral Tradition Song Library

Magnificence

This is a simple and moving song with two sections, each sung separately and then together. It works beautifully over an instrumental accompaniment of Pachabel’s Canon.

One cool interpretation of the song is that it is a recognition of the divine feminine by the masculine, and the “hallelujah” is the feminine receiving that recognition.
