Holy & Whole

Holy & Whole

This song came as a spell to release the judgments, reactions, attachments and fears that get in the way of open-heartedness. May it woo you into the sanctuary of your already perfect wholeness.

Lyrics

Solo verses:

You are invited to be delighted inside of this life
To design, to refine, to shine
Holy and already whole, this feeling revealing we’re alive

Anchored and open, I am the ocean and oh, it’s alright
To let go what I know, to flow
I’m holy and already whole, this feeling revealing I’m alive

Each day is revealing we are the agents of healing in this life
To be here, without fear, it’s clear
We’re holy and already whole, this feeling revealing we’re alive
It’s happening now! Can you feel it?

Chorus:
Oh– oh-o  oh oh– oh-o oh oh—o oh-o oh oh oh– (x4)

Solo verses:

Thank you for reaching, I’d love to learn what you’re teaching in this life
Be my guide for this ride, remind me
We’re holy and already whole, this feeling revealing we’re alive

Now is the timing for higher mind to be guiding this life
To be kind, to unwind, we’ll find
We’re holy and already whole, this feeling revealing we’re alive
It’s happening now! Can you feel it?

Chorus:
Oh– oh-o  oh oh– oh-o oh oh—o oh-o oh oh oh– (x4)

Solo Outro Verse:

Thank you for showing me how this love is unfolding in my life
We’re alive – can you feel it?

Teaching Notes

I personally sing all the verses of this song as a solo and invite voices on the wordless, singalong chorus, which is easy to teach quickly.  The rhythmic, off-beat notes of the chorus may take a few run-throughs.

In this choral arrangement, the altos and tenors have the melody.  You might teach the written harmonies in the soprano and baritone for added complexity and beauty.  There’s an additional high harmony above the soprano that you might hear in the solo voice in the second round of choruses.  I sing this harmony above the choir.

Key: Dm
