Earth You Hold Us

06 Jun Earth You Hold Us

Lyndsey Scott calls this “a circle opening song, a moment of rooting down, a moment of slowing to Source, so we can join with one another in ceremony from a place of embodied Wholeness.”

This choral arrangement by Lisa Littlebird closely matches Lyndsey’s studio release and was made with Lyndsey’s guidance for Wholehearted Chorus. There are four voice parts – soprano, high alto, low alto, and tenor/ baritone. (Even though the tenor and baritone parts are listed seprately below they are singing the same part.) The arrangement is free to share.

Lyrics

Part 1:
Earth, you hold us as we gather, together
to know ourselves as whole, at home
alive and strong

Part 2:
Guide us as we enter in,
together in remembering
we’re whole, at home
alive and strong

Part 3:
Rooted in truth, grounded in now
Guided by love I am allowing
Life to provide all that I need to grow
