Rise Up Singing with Lisa Goettel is designed to rekindle your most pleasurable, childlike relationship with singing. Singing and dancing are perhaps the two most natural expressions of the human experience, yet many of us have created beliefs, judgments and other obstacles that prevent us from fully exercising the natural gifts that are our birthright.
In this three hour workshop Lisa offers a relaxed, fun and energizing opportunity to reunite with your most joyful, authentic expression. You will receive a mini-master class in healthy singing and join a non-judgment, non-performance-oriented choir for a day, learning many songs in the round.
The workshop is designed for people of all ages and abilities. (Kids under 14 must be accompanied by a participating parent.) You don't need to be able to read music, or even think you can sing. Lisa offers an opening, a hunt for the very personal key to the door of your voice. Enjoy a great afternoon of play and connection and leave feeling uplifted and alive.

This workshop retreat in Big Sur, CA is designed for women who are solidly on their path— women who know what they want to create in their lives and are ready to manifest their most sacred priorities and choices more fully.
In this facilitated, sacred circle we will use the support of sangha (spiritual community) to integrate daily practices and celebratory ritual in the process of manifesting the life of our dreams.
In Community, we will investigate questions like:
- What shifts in our lives are required to live more fully from the heart?
- How are we committing to bliss?
- And what support do we need to live our bliss?

Purchase a gift certificate good for a 45 minute private voice lesson or admission to any Rise Up Singing afternoon workshop. Voice lessons may be scheduled in-person when possible or by Skype. Gift certificates are $45.

About the Workshops
Singing offers a powerful way to connect more deeply with ourselves and others. These "playshops" offer an opportunity to tease us out, move energy and make music with no pressure - the simple joy of singing together. Lisa invites singers of all abilities to explore the full potential of their voice through exercises and songs of many genres learned in the round. Her style is shaped by more than 20 years of vocal training and teaching experience and rooted in gentle and compassionate awareness practices.
The workshops are designed for adults of all ages and abilities. You don't need to be able to read music, or even think you can sing. Come ready to explore your voice and tap your spirit in a delicious and energizing way.
Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable, however they are transferable to another person or workshop.
