May Peace Be With You

The Bird Sings Oral Tradition Song Library

02 Mar May Peace Be With You

This song comes from the Threshold Choir repertoire. A gentle blessing song with an engaging melody and lush harmonies. This song was introduced to me by Marilyn Power Scott, a wonderful song leader and Threshold singer in Santa Barbara who included this on her Many-Petaled Rose album. On this song the middle part carries the melody.

Composer & Copyright

Original song by Annie Garretson.

May peace be with you
Peace be with you now
May peace be with you always
Peace be with you now and always

(repeat with “love” and “grace” instead of peace)

Beautiful music! Do you have the 3 parts for may peace be with you? These seem to be parts to a different song ” have you ever heard” Thanks!! Aruna

What an incredible gift you are to our village, this library with such skillfully articulate harmonies and collected repertoire a treasure trove to the broken open heart. Thank you Lisa.
